Guest Post: Spring Has Come

First off-congrats to Amy on her new bundle of joy! I’m so excited to be here while she gets to spend some time with her little one.
Let me introduce myself-my name’s Kari and I blog over at Newlyweds on a Budget. I’m a newly married college student who loves finding ways to craft and design on my tiny budget. My husband and I live in married student housing while he finishes his degree in video game programming and I work on my history degree. Our apartment is small, doesn’t have carpet, has a mini bake oven, and cinder block walls. We like to refer to it as our cinder block palace. It’s pathetically awesome. Over at my blog you’ll find lots of things from Gallery Wall Reveals to Pallet Art to Book Page Wreaths.

I’m loving the fact that Spring is finally here! The blossoms on the trees our beautiful and I’ve got a fun and SUPER easy craft to share with you today to celebrate the season.

I took a picture frame I had on hand. I picked it up from the dollar store a few weeks ago for two quarters-
Then-using my Cricut and some vinyl I picked up for $2 a piece I cute out a “Spring has Come” and printed out some fun saying. Then I simply stuck them right onto the glass of the frame. Told you it was easy!
Here’s the final product-
Aren’t you loving the concrete walls in the background?
It’s a quick (took me about 15minutes total), easy, and fun project that anyone can do!
Thanks again to Amy for having me-I’d love to have you come hang out with me at Newlyweds on a Budget! I have fun weekly link party-Tutorial Tuesday-that I would love to have you be apart of.
You can also find me hanging out at my Facebook Page, on Twitter, and being inspired by Pinterest

Thanks so much Kari!
